Limited-Time Free Assets Until June 30
Fab has launched a new collection of Limited-Time Free assets for game developers, environment artists, animators, and other real-time creators. This time, the selection includes two extensive environment packs and a flexible modular character system.
The assets are available free of charge until June 30, 2026, at 9:59 AM ET. After that deadline, they are expected to return to their regular prices, so creators interested in expanding their production libraries should claim them while the offer remains active.
The latest collection includes:
- DOCKS VOL.2 – Powell Dock by Dekogon Studios
- Stylized Characters – Modular Stylized Character Creator – Adventurer by Polyart Studio
- White Castle by DmitriyDryzhak
Together, these products cover realistic environment production, stylized character creation, and modular fantasy architecture.
DOCKS VOL.2 – Powell Dock
DOCKS VOL.2 – Powell Dock is a modular environment package created by Dekogon Studios. Despite the “Low Poly” wording in its title, the pack is designed to deliver detailed, realistic visuals suitable for modern Unreal Engine projects.
The package contains 103 meshes, along with the complete dock scene presented in the product showcase. Its collection of buildings, platforms, maritime props, fishing-related objects, structural elements, and environmental details can be used to construct believable coastal locations without modelling every object from scratch.
The pack is especially suitable for:
- Fishing villages
- Harbours and boatyards
- Coastal settlements
- Post-apocalyptic waterfronts
- Survival-game locations
- Industrial dock areas
- Cinematic shoreline environments
One of the most useful aspects of the package is its modular structure. Developers can use the included scene as a starting point, rebuild its layout, or combine individual pieces with assets from other environment packs.
The product includes high-quality 4K texture sets and a master material system that controls many of the included props and models. Artists can adjust properties such as roughness, albedo, and normal intensity, making it easier to adapt the assets to different lighting conditions and visual styles.
The textures use channel-packed roughness, metalness, and ambient occlusion maps, helping reduce the number of separate texture samples required by the materials. A realistic post-process setup and lookup table are also included.
The environment supports Lumen in Unreal Engine 5 and has been optimized with real-time projects in mind. This makes Powell Dock an attractive option not only for completed games but also for virtual production, architectural visualization, cinematics, concept scenes, and rapid level prototyping.
For environment artists, this is arguably the most production-ready package in the current giveaway.
Stylized Characters – Modular Stylized Character Creator – Adventurer
Polyart Studio’s Modular Stylized Character Creator is the most gameplay-oriented asset in the new Limited-Time Free collection.
Instead of providing only one finished hero model, the system includes two fully modular characters — one male and one female — with interchangeable body parts, equipment, clothing, armour, backpacks, and other accessories.
Developers can modify colours for armour, gear, skin, eyes, hair, and additional character elements. This allows a comparatively small collection of source components to produce a much larger cast of adventurers, enemies, villagers, party members, or non-player characters.
The asset supports two main rendering approaches:
- PBR shading for a more dimensional and traditionally lit appearance
- Cel shading for a graphic, animated, or comic-inspired style
This flexibility makes the characters suitable for fantasy RPGs, adventure games, action projects, survival titles, mobile games, and stylized multiplayer experiences.
The characters include full-body rigging, facial expressions, and blend shapes. These features can be useful for dialogue scenes, emotional reactions, facial animation, and lip-syncing. The included gear is also rigged, allowing accessories such as backpacks to move naturally with the character.
A built-in character creator interface helps users assemble new combinations without manually configuring every component. Gear can be swapped and recoloured through a dedicated customization interface, while completed configurations can be saved as presets and loaded again later.
This preset system may be particularly valuable for projects requiring multiple character classes, enemy variations, equipment tiers, or procedurally generated NPCs.
The package is designed to scale across different hardware targets. It includes lower-poly options and simplified shaders for mobile and lower-end platforms, while still offering the visual features needed for higher-quality PC and console projects.
The characters can also be used with custom animations and motion-capture data, giving teams the freedom to connect them to an existing animation pipeline rather than relying exclusively on predefined movement sets.
For developers building a stylized fantasy project, this asset could save a substantial amount of modelling, rigging, material, and interface-development work.
White Castle
White Castle by DmitriyDryzhak is a modular architectural package focused on bright medieval and fantasy construction.
The asset contains a mixture of simple and complex prefabricated elements representing the distinctive architecture of a monumental white castle. A demonstration scene is included to show how the pieces can be combined into a larger environment.
The collection can be used to create:
- Fantasy castles
- Elven citadels
- Medieval towers
- Sacred temples
- Royal palaces
- Heavenly fortresses
- Dungeon entrances
- Decorative architectural landmarks
The contrast between white architectural surfaces and fantasy decoration makes the pack particularly suitable for locations associated with light, royalty, ancient civilizations, divine factions, or elven cultures. At the same time, artists can change the materials and lighting to create darker, abandoned, frozen, or ruined variations.
The geometry ranges from relatively lightweight objects to highly detailed architectural pieces, with triangle counts extending from approximately 60 to 87,000. This gives developers a mixture of small decorative assets and larger hero structures.
White Castle is available in Unreal Engine, Unity, and FBX formats. That broader format support makes it the most engine-flexible product in the current collection. The FBX files can also be imported into other compatible engines and digital content creation tools, although materials and scene configurations may require additional setup outside the officially listed platforms.
The pack should be especially useful for world builders who need a strong visual landmark. Even when the complete castle is not required, individual towers, walls, decorative pieces, and architectural modules can be integrated into larger fantasy environments.
Which Asset Is the Most Useful?
Each of the three products serves a different stage of game production.
DOCKS VOL.2 – Powell Dock is the strongest choice for realistic environment work. It offers a complete coastal scene, a large prop library, configurable materials, and modern Unreal Engine rendering support.
The Modular Stylized Character Creator is likely the most versatile asset for gameplay development. Its modular characters, equipment system, facial features, presets, and multiple shader styles can support numerous character variations across an entire project.
White Castle is the best option for fantasy world building and cross-engine workflows. Its modular architecture can provide a central landmark or become part of a much larger medieval or magical environment.
There is no need to choose only one. All three assets can be claimed during the promotional period, even when they are not immediately required for an active project.
A Useful Collection for Prototypes and Full Productions
The new Limited-Time Free selection is unusually well balanced. It provides one realistic environment, one stylized character system, and one fantasy construction kit.
A developer could use Powell Dock to prototype a survival or exploration level, the character creator to generate playable heroes and NPCs, and White Castle to build an entirely different fantasy scene. The products are also valuable as learning resources for studying modular construction, character customization, material organization, environment composition, rigging, and real-time optimization.
Even creators who do not currently need docks, adventurers, or castles may find reusable props, materials, meshes, rigs, or workflow examples inside these packages.
The offer ends on June 30, 2026, at 9:59 AM ET. Anyone interested should visit Fab’s Limited-Time Free section, select the appropriate available license, and add the products to their library before the deadline.
For game developers and digital artists, this is another solid opportunity to acquire professional production resources without increasing the project budget.
